Sorry about the lack of updates, I am currently in Sydney & have limited internet connection.

New Moon Deleted Scene

The first deleted scene from New Moon has made it online, the clip was released by Target (US) as a teaser for the New Moon DVD.

K-Mart

I don’t know if it’s in K-mart stores Australia wide, but at the local K-mart here in Sydney, they have the Long-thin New Moon Calander on sale for $5!

Upcoming Conventions

The Hub Productions have announced another guest for the upcoming Twilight convention, Christian Serratos, who plays Bella’s human friend Angela Webber will join other cast members in Sydney & Melbourne this April. Also, for any Vampire Diaries fans, The Hub have announced a Vampire Diaries Convention, set for July in Sydney & Melbourne. Paul Wesley (Stefan) has been confirmed, with more guests to be announced!

Supanova Pop Culture Expo has announced Wolf Pack member Paul, played by Alex Meraz will be joining them for Brisbane & Melbourne. On the Sydney & Perth leg, they will have Chaske Spencer and Jodelle Ferland!

Updates!

With every passing day it seems more & more video’s are being released from New Moon! Soon enough, we could probably piece the movie together! Luckily we don’t have much longer to wait to see it on the big screen! (And would you believe, that I still haven’t made any plans!)

Twi Tour Gallery

The gallery has been updated with a few pictures from Twi-Tour, including the professional TA shots from Sydney. The Hub Productions Twilight Tour!

Today marks the end of Perth’s Twilight Tour! I hope everyone had an awesome time! If you’ve not been watching The Hub’s website, the line up has slightly changed. No Kellan, due to filming, & unfortunately Charlie can only make it to Brisbane & Sydney. Though, the wonderful people at The Hub have been working super hard & you now have the chance to meet Christopher Heyerdahl(Who plays Marcus & any Supernatural nuts out there will know him as Allistair), Cameron Bright (who plays Alec, Jane’s twin brother) & in Melbourne, Bronson Pellitier (Wolf Pack member Jared!)

I should also mention that updates may be a little few & far between as I will be flying to Sydney & Melbourne to attend those legs of the tour! If you see me, feel free to come and say hello! I’ll be the girl with bright pink hair.

Nel’s Auction

A couple of post’s back, you may remember me posting about Nel’s Auction. An auction to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research and the Mount Isa Oncology Unit. It seems that the electronic bid form is now up, & you have the chance to bid on a signed copy of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Look around because also up for bidding is Signed House of Night books, as well as a set of The Mortal Instruments books signed by Author Cassandra Clare! If you like Twilight, you will adore The House of Night & Mortal Instruments books! ( I know I did! I call dibs of Jace!)

Auctions, conventions & site feeds OH MY!

Nel’s Auction!

In the next few hours I shall be adding a link in the sidebar for a charity auction called “Nel’s Auction”. This auction is to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research and the Mount Isa Oncology Unit, in honour of Janelle Judith Ryan 17/10/1968 – 18/04/2009. One of the donated items is a signed copy of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. For all you twilight fans, this is a great opportunity to dig deep, get a wonderful piece of Twilight merch & help out out at the same time. I’d also like to point out, another lot of items up for Auction is a set of signed House of Night novels by Kristen & PC Cast. If you’ve not read them, you should, they are awesome!

The items will be on display at Stocklands Townsville, from October 5th until October 31st. It will be a silent auction, and at the time being, you have to visit Stocklands Townsville to place your bid. They will be adding an electronic bidding system to their website, so keep an eye on it.

Convention Update!

The wonderiffic people at The Hub Production have announced another guest for the upcoming Twilight Tour! John Henson! I know a few of you maybe going “Uhm, who”, so let me tell you a little about John & why this is an amazing opportunity! John is a multi-talented guy! A graphic designer, published children’s book author/illustrator & Costumer! He first read Twilight in 2006 & soon became addicted!

In addition to curating the largest private collection of Twilight Saga memorabilia, film props and wardrobe, he is proud to be the costume designer for The Hillywood Show Parody NEW MOON, due out in 2010. He has spent countless hours researching, searching and finding both screen-worn pieces and exact duplicates of costumes and props worn/used by the entire Twilight saga cast for his personal enjoyment, and now he’s sharing them with YOU! We are proud to have John in Australia! He will be on hand to answer your questions and share his amazing collection, so have your camera’s ready – you won’t want to miss the chance to see some of Twilightdom’s most iconic costume pieces, including Edward’s wool peacoat and Bella’s blue prom dress!

John will be joining the tour in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne! And what is extra special about this exhibit is that for a small fee you can be photographed holding or wearing some of your favourite pieces, from Alice’s party dress in New Moon, to Emmett’s baseball cap from Twilight to Carlisle’s lab coat. Convention Updates!

With the Supanova convention over, we have a few months to recover our money before the next con! The Hub Productions have been busy trying to secure the guests that you want to see! Since the last updates, they have added Tinsel Korey and Chaske Spencer to the line up. For those that are fans of the movie, and not read the books, you may be asking, who are they? Well, they are characters you will learn more about in the next few movies!

The Hub Productions have also updated with the following news…

With a heavy heart we have to advise that Peter will not be able to join us in October as his new television show Nurse Jackie has been picked up for a second season and will be filming. We look forward to Peter joining us in the new year as he his anxious to come our to Australia and meet all his fans.

However it is time to do the happy dance and jump up and down on the bed for joy as we already have secured an awesome much loved replacement in the delicious and delightful form of Mr Kellan Lutz ( be still our beating hearts).

Sad we don’t get to meet our favourite Doctor, but oh so glad to have the lovable Mr Lutz back to our shores! Don’t worry Perth guests, you shall find out soon enough who you shall be meeting!

New Twilight Tour Guest Announced!

The Hub Productions have announced the 2nd guest to appear at the upcoming ‘Twilight Tour’. Chaske Spencer, who plays leader of the Wolf Pack ‘Sam Uley’ in New Moon, joins Peter Facinelli (Dr Carlisle Cullen) in Perth, Brisbane & Sydney this October!

Also, I finally have the convention section of TwilightAustralia open to the public! This section will hopefully soon be filled with infomation & stories on previous Twilight Conventions held in Australia, as well as all news on upcoming conventions! Twilight stars come out to Sydney

Twilight’s vampire love story already gets fans hot and bothered.

So two of the movie’s sexy stars are sure to get pulses racing when they arrive in Australia this week.

Kellan Lutz, who plays good vampire Emmett Cullen, and Edi Gathegi, who plays bad vampire Laurent, are coming to Sydney to celebrate the release of the Twilight DVD, which comes out on Wednesday.

Fans in frenzy as Twilight stars hit Sydney

Twilight star Kellan Lutz dismissed rumours he is dating troubled Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan after jetting into Sydney to meet delighted fans and promote the film’s DVD release.

Lutz, who plays vampire Emmett Cullen in the cult teenage film, is the latest to be linked to Lohan following her break-up with girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

Geelong in the Twilight zone

Many of the 600-strong crowd camped out for hours in freezing conditions to meet Hollywood’s newest stars, Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi, for an autograph session at the Gifts for the Geek store yesterday.

At $30 a signature, it was an expensive meet and greet but those who saw the teen idols believed it was money well spent
