Team Edward. Being a romantic at heart my choice has to be Edward. He is the definition of perfect. Gorgeous, caring, protective and loving. He lives for Bella, for her happiness and her life, he wants nothing more than to make her happy. Edward is right up there with Romeo and Mr Darcy as far as perfect fictional boyfriends go, on second thoughts he rates higher than both as his only flaw is being a vampire and hey he managed to overcome that for the perfect girl….he gives us all hope that our own Edward is out there somewhere.

JACOB – Carmen T – 21 – Vic

As much as I love Edward, Jake has always been the underdog for me.  He gave Bella friendship, protection and love when Edward left and always makes us Twilight readers laugh.  He dealt with heartbreak when Bella chose Ed and has learnt some hard life lessons, but he has managed to remain totally faithful to Bella, Renesmee and the fans.  He’s cheeky, lovable and ready to fight for what he believes in.

Janice L – 14 – VIC

I am neither since I am proudly Team Switzerland. “I refuse to be affected by territorial disputes between mythical creatures.” Vampires and werewolves can be just as much fun and charismatic as each other. Edward has the money, can give you super-speedy piggyback rides and keep you cool during summer. On the other hand, Jake can fix your cars and warm you up during winter – space heater!  Both the actors who portray them are super talented and definitely HOT – LOL. And in the book, and my opinion, these two guys have very distinct personalities and have the most hilarious lines that crack me up every time. So that proves that both guys are crucial to the story and if one did not exist, then we’ll have no Twilight saga to love, which would be extremely terrible and a shame! Plus, Bella loves them both so why shouldn’t we love them too?

Thanaa A – 15 – VIC

I guess I’m team Jacob, after a lot of arguing. I guess it’s because Jacob is pretty much human, not that Edward isn’t great in all his beauty and character. But Jacob has so much about him. His character, his personality and his persistence are so attractive and the way he doesn’t care about what others think. I admire the way he holds on and doesn’t want to let go. But he’s just such a great guy. And through all the pain he goes through he doesn’t want Bella to know. He wants to make her happy, although Edward does too, and his love is just concrete real. I love his nonchalance and sarcasm and the way he looks at the world.  I love it how through all the stuff that happens to him he still has hope and he doesn’t give up. I think I connected with Jacob and I felt for him, the way his pain cuts right through. The way he tries to do anything to get rid of the pain. The way he treats those he cares about, he’s such a protector. And like every girl, he’s pretty hot in a human way

Toni D – 16 – NSW

I am team Jacob. I think he is genuinely a great guy and i think he helped Bella so much in her hour of need. He isn’t smothering or over protective like Edward is and he has a sense of humour. he is selfless in the way that he new that Bella would never want him in that way, because Edward existed, but he was still willing to be her best friend knowing that it couldn’t be anything more. I know from personal experience that guys don’t want to be friends with you if it isn’t going to be anything more, so i think that Jacob is awesome in that way. Bella would never have had to change herself in order to be with Jacob; and isn’t the number one rule not to change yourself for a guy.

Katherina P – 17 – VIC

I am all for TEAM EDWARD! Seriously, can there be a guy more intriguing and stunningly perfect?! Not to mention, Edward has such an amazing character. His personality is like a maze – you have to go through lots and lots of twists and turns to finally know the real him. They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend; but hey with Edward around, he can sparkle for me better then any diamond can. So he definitely can be my best friend any day! I couldn’t resist someone as absurdly impossible to understand because like Bella, I would certainly want to know more. And finally, who wouldn’t love a gorgeous vampire with impeccable manners! Edward is without a doubt the apple of my eye!

Gabrielle – 15 – QLD

Team Jacob, Don’t get me wrong, I like Edward. But I LOVE Jake. I just don’t find cuddling up to a cold, hard stone appealing. I like my men HOT. And… Edward is much too obsessive, controlling, pushy, guilt-ridden, etc. And Jacob actually has a sense of humour. Jake just cares that Bella is happy and is willing to do or be whatever she wants him to, so that she is happy. He is totally right- Edward is like a drug for Bells and Jacob wouldn’t be–he’d be the fresh air and her own personal sun. HE is the natural, regular path her life would have taken. Jacob is amazing and he has flaws and edward doesnt and hes still a kid he always speaks what he feels and never hides anything form bella no matter what it is. Also I would feel too self-concious and wouldn’t be able to be myself around Edward because he’s so perfect. I would always be comparing my flaws and imperfection with his perfect beauty.

Jessica T – 18 – NSW

Team Edward – he is a great, selfless guy who can unconditionally love someone with all his heart. He would do anything for Bella that she wanted, even if he doesn’t agree with her choice. He is someone who loves his family so much, he left at the start of Twilight so that he didn’t ruin his family’s reputation by killing Bella, he also left his family along during his time apart from Bella in New Moon so they didn’t have to watch him be depressed and hurt!! He is also really beautiful!!
