Hoyts aswell as Event Cinema’s now have tickets available to pre-order for The Twilight Saga : Eclipse. Most cinema’s shall also be holding Twilight Movie Marathons, showing Twilight, New Moon & then at Midnight, Eclipse! Make sure you check out the sites & book your tickets early!
In the last couple of days the wonderful guys from The Hub Productions have announced their newest guest for April’s Twilight Convention… Gil Birmingham, who plays Billy Black in the Twilight movies! He will be joining Ashley Greene (who plays Alice Cullen) and Daniel Cudmore (who plays Felix).
The conventions will be Saturday the 24th in Sydney and the 25th of April in Melbourne.

Golly, whilst I’m talking about The Hub, I may aswell mention another con they have coming up. I know a lot of the older Twilight fans are also fans of True Blood & the books they are based on. Well, the Hub are really listening & they’ve recently announced a True Blood Convention! It’s a con that will please fans of the show & the books, because so far they have announced the Author herself, Charlaine Harris! Not to mention actors Sam Trammell (Sam!), John Billingsley (Mike) & my favourite Vamp, Kristen Bauer (Pam!)

So Christmas is around the corner, is everyone excited? Are you expecting lots of Twilight merch under the tree? I wanted to take the opportunity to wish all the readers a Happy Holiday Season! This coming January marks the 2 year birthday of Twilight Australia! Exciting times! I never even imagined the amount of sucess this site would have made! To help out with the cost of the site, in the New Year I’ll be holding some auctions of random Twilight merch I’ve collected, either I’ve bought in bulk or I no longer have room for! So keep an eye out & remember that money raised from this will go to keeping TA open!
The wonderful HappyMealOnLegs, from the forum, has sent us in the hi-res version of the Brandyland Photography pictures of Charlie Bewley. These images are normally Black & White, but Meg, being the whizz she is has made them colour! You may remember these as an Autograph option at the recent convention! Charlie loved them so much he had Meg send them to him & they now appear on his site!

DOLLY – November 2009 – This issue of Dolly has a gorgeous cover! I am Team Jacob & this photo shoot of Kristen & Taylor make my shipper heart so happy! Inside you’ll find 4 pages of New Moon! It includes an interview with Taylor, Kristen & Ashely. As well as info on new cast. Within the mag you’ll also find a full page advertisment for the movie.
TV WEEK – November 7-13. In the lead up to New Moon, TV Week is releasing 4 Twilight Collector Issues! A must have for any fan! This week they have a Taylor interview along with 3 gorgeous posters!!
EMPIRE -December 2009. With Edward gracing the cover, and 2 double page bonus covers (Bella or Jacob), this issue of Empire is, well, very pretty! Inside you’ll find 7 pages full of New Moon!
WHO - November 16. The cover features Robert & Kristen with a heading “The Truth About US”. Now, for the gossip magazines, this isn’t such a bad heading comparied to some previous weeks. Inside you’ll find a double page spread of the newly released “Harper’s Bazaar” photoshoot of Rob & Kristen. The pictures are devine! The article inside is “Inside their lives now” and shows the recent wurl wind promotional tour. “The Secret Lives of Rob & Kristen” talks about life before Twilight. This issue also has info on the new New Moon stars.
It’s a tie between ‘Buy’ & ‘Borrow’. Me, I bought it just for the Harpers Bazaar pictures!
After spending the weekend with Cameron during the Melbourne end of the Twilight Tour, talk had came to his Twitter account and how because there are so many fake Cameron’s out there, he hasn’t been able to be verified… so I decided to do something about it. This is the deal, in tradition of the brilliant BBDU gals *bows down* I am starting a GCV (Get Cameron Verified) campaign!!! The plan is if we can get Cameron 50,000 followers and verified I will dress up in an outfit of choice for the Hub’s Sydney Midnight screening of New Moon. Well, okay that’s not thought out too well but it will be… so if everyone that sees this can you follow @CamBright then repost this message (or along these lines): Follow the REAL @CamBright and help him get his Twitter account verified. Pass this allong to all your Twilight mates!
